PADI Advanced Certification

Reaching Rescue Diver - Rotterdam, Netherlands - 17th to 27th of September 2021

Due to COVID, I did not want to travel unnecessarily in the past months. However, I was constantly eager to get back into the water and further my scuba diving training. I decided to use the brief break between the acceptance of my PhD thesis and its defense to take plenty of advanced courses in the Netherlands. After all, if you can dive in these conditions, you can do it anywhere! I ended up completing PADI’s Advanced Open Water, Drysuit, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Enriched Air, Wreck Diver, Underwater Navigation, and the Rescue Diver courses at Lucky Divers. The picture shows the site in which most of the training took place; a bit creepy indeed! I am looking forward to start enjoying more relaxing adventure dives in warmer water now. Nevertheless, there is still a lot to learn!
